Three Distinct Persons
As mentioned, God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit are all the same God, they are not three Gods, but three distinct persons in the one God.

We glorify and worship all three persons of the Trinity, and we acknowledge them through the work of salvation history. God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all play different roles through the Scriptures. We usually assume that God the Father (the first person of the Trinity), to have created the Heavens and the earth, and communicated with the people throughout the Old Testament so in the Old Testament, despite the fact that we now know that Jesus and the Holy Spirit were present from the beginning of time.
It is crucial to understand that God the Father has no body and therefore does not have a biological identity. God is a spirit, not a human being or anything like that. God is all powerful and exists outside of space and time. He is both eternal and everywhere at the same time. God the Father created everything out of nothing, so it stands to reason knowing all of this, that He would not be bound by gender, sex, or anything else for that matter. We call the first person of the Trinity "Father" because God most likely chose to be identified in that way.
Since we are unable to fully comprehend or understand the knowledge of exactly who and what God is, the subject of God can be very difficult to fully grasp or understand. God the Father sent His Son Jesus (the second person of the Trinity) to earth in order to make us feel more connected to God because He has always known that we will never fully comprehend His love for us. God is love; this is the fundamental characteristic that characterises who God is. Because God loves us, He made this world and us. For us to be able to freely live with God after death, He sent His only begotten Son to earth to serve as a ransom, bear our sins, and take the punishment we would have deserved. It would be like if you were homeless because you were in a massive debt and wasn't sure how you'd get out. Imagine now you hear that a man who you don't know just paid off all your debt and has offered you His house to live in forever so you never need to be homeless again.

After Jesus went back to Heaven after His ascension, Jesus took His rightful place on the right hand of the Father in Heaven, and Christians believe that He will come back down to earth on the last day and judge the living and the dead. Only Jesus is the way to knowing the Father, and being with Him after death. Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me. (John 14:6) emphasis added.
In the beginning of the Gospel of John, the author proclaims who Christ is and that he isn’t just another prophet. He is with God and is God, and that he has existed from the beginning of time. “In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was from God and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him.” (John 1:1-3)
Jesus, when He came to earth revealed the true identity of the Father, as He could as He was in a divine relationship with the Father.

With gratitude for the ideas the Bible has given us, we typically visualize the Holy Spirit as a dove; however, the Holy Spirit is much more than a dove. The Hebrew word "Ruach," which means "breath," "air," or "wind," is used to refer to the Holy Spirit. This word's meaning conveys a much deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit than our knowledge or perceptions of him. Life is given by the Holy Spirit. Genesis 2:7, Job 32:8, Ezekiel 36:26–28, and John 20:21 all mention similar ideas.

I praise you for all things, I bless you, I glorify you, along with the everlasting and heavenly Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, with whom, to you, and the Holy Spirit, be glory both now and to all coming ages. Amen. -St Polycarp of Smyrna [quoted in Martydom of Polycarp 14 (c A.D. 156 emphasis added].

[T]hat we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in unity... The Father uncreated, the Son uncreate, and the Holy Spirit uncreate. The Father incomprehensible, the Son incomprehensible, and the Holy Spirit incomprehensible. The Father eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Spirit eternal, and yet they are not three eternals but one eternal [Athanasian Creed (c. A.D. 425)]
